Springtime may just be our favourite time of the year. The evenings are longer, warm sunny days actually happen and those summer holidays you’ve been dreaming about all winter suddenly seem more like a reality. Rebecca from blog A Clothes Horse went in search of that springtime feel good factor at Belfast's Botanic Gardens. AClothesHorse-EmilyAndFin-LuluDress-SquareGarden-01 “When you can't find spring outside, take a trip to your nearest greenhouse for a flood of warmth and color. The Belfast Botanic Gardens definitely fit that bill, bursting with blooms and color--making my colorful outfit and light cardi seem more suitable than they probably are with our grey skies! But I couldn't resist styling my new Emily and Fin dress … simply; comfortable flats and a vintage basket purse that makes me [want] to picnic outdoors.” AClothesHorse-EmilyAndFin-LuluDress-SquareGarden-07 AClothesHorse-EmilyAndFin-LuluDress-SquareGarden-15 “The brighter days are making me feel so much brighter and more optimistic, I can't really resist dressing with optimism as well. Optimistic dressing for me is bright clothes, but also bare legs and light sweaters when tights and coats would be more advisable, but goodness it feels so liberating to be briefly freed from winter layers! The days are getting longer [and] the sun is making a more regular appearance.” AClothesHorse-EmilyAndFin-LuluDress-SquareGarden-14 AClothesHorse-EmilyAndFin-LuluDress-SquareGarden-03 Now, we’re off in search of some greenery!
